Lecture: Archaeology of the Patapsco Valley State Park with Kelly Palich

Kelly Palich, Howard County Recreation and Parks Archaeologist, will present the history and archaeological overview and interpretation of archaeology in the Patapsco Valley State Park.  The state park encompasses multiple developed areas on over 14,000 acres of land. The Patapsco River Valley contains a wide breadth of historic and prehistoric resources which help paint a picture of human occupation for thousands of years.   Come learn about this history and help learn how you can become a steward of preservation in the first State Park of Maryland.
